Broiled Fish

Makes: 4-6 servings


  • 1 lb tilapia
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • salt, pepper, and chilli powder to taste


  1. Rinse the filets and pat dry. Crush the garlic and rub it into the fish, then dip in flour.
  2. Heat the oil in a heavy pan and fry the fish on both sides until golden brown. Add the tomatoes and spices.
  3. Cover the pan and let simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes, adding a little bit of water as necessary.
